We’re still reminiscing on our time at the EuRA - European Relocation Association International Relocation Congress “Beyond the Horizon” conference in sunny Vilamoura, Portugal, where Altair Global’s Simon Scott, Vice President of Finance and Destination Services, and Daniel Danko, Director of Global Supplier Partnerships in EMEA, engaged in conversations about the future of global mobility, sustainability, and bettering skills and experiences. Some interesting conference topics included #AI and how it can be used as a tool to help consultants provide customers with a better experience. Simon also participated in the Supply Chain Symposium panel to provide a better understanding of #supplychain function and finding areas for improvement in service delivery and/or supplier/client relationships. #EuRA2024 #CorporateRelocation #GlobalMobility #LifeAtAltair

Last week, the Portland Relocation Council hosted their Spring Olympics Spectacular, where Brian Potts, Executive Vice President of The Americas, and Jim Russo, Senior Vice President of Business Development, discussed how major events like the Olympics can influence key mobility sectors such as immigration, temporary housing, moving and logistics, and taxation. Attendees embraced their inner Olympians by dressing the part while hearing from mobility experts providing unique outlooks on different aspects of mobility programs. The conference also included developments on the NAR Settlement, and Brian representing Altair on a panel alongside others discussing the effects of major global events, like times of conflict and natural disasters, on mobility. Additionally, the duo had the chance to meet real Olympian rower, Rob Munn, and connect with industry friends at this fantastic event! #GlobalMobility #PRC2024 #CorporateRelocation
